big news!

years in the making

Today marks a big release! I’ve worked so hard on these changes, and I am so, so, so elated to be able to share them with you. I’m not sure I can put into words how excited I am, but I really hope these exclamation points translate!

For most of my decades-long career, I’ve struggled with two things: complicated pricing/proposals and certain parts of the project. I accepted that, as in life, there are things you have to do that you don’t necessarily want to. An esthetician friend put it simply- “Do I love giving bikini waxes? No, but it pays the bills”. Fortunately for me (and everyone else), waxing is not in my wheelhouse, but I so relate to the sentiment.

There are parts of a project that feel so tedious, and I have long desired to let them go. I dreamed of focusing on the big picture, which is where I know I am most effective + ignited. The fear of leaping and potentially losing clients was real, but it also kept this thing so status quo that it began to eat at my soul. I knew there was a better way.

“Just hire people to do the parts you don’t want to” was the motto of many colleagues, coaches, and fellow business owners, which made me realize that most businesses are glorified pyramid schemes. I can see how this works for most, but I longed for a simpler, more honest approach- one driven solely by passion. And isn’t that the whole point of taking a risk + starting a business anyway?

So here I am, over 3 years and several iterations into this business, and I've finally found a way to do it - unapologetically in line with who I am as a human providing service to other humans. This new model encompasses all that I love and only that. So selfish, right?

BUT there’s more! Pricing in this industry has always been so secretive + inconsistent, leaving designers + clients overwhelmed. Not here! I've streamlined and simplified our pricing to make it easier for everyone. I used to cringe when someone would ask, “What do you charge?” Now, it’s one of my favorite questions!

No more guessing. No more hour-long calls deciphering your scope. No more drafting lengthy proposals, trying to beautiful-mind my way to an equation that accurately estimates the fees. Worse? Timesheets logging hours and billing clients bi-weekly.

I hate math and time sheets. So, guess what? We don’t do that anymore! Instead, time is spent on making an impact, focusing on all the things that I am both inspired by and exceptionally great at.

• Can we do it all? Yes!

• Are we going to? Nope!

• Will our clients walk away fully transformed? Absolutely!
